To be sure, this fallen world doesn't lack for arts journals full to the brim with more exquisite prose and stately fiction than one could shake a rain stick at. But how many of them offer experimental voice/percussion scores that resemble crainium-compressing geometric labyrinths, windows into spiraling infinity, or real-life dialectics? How many feature poetry that insiduously divorces you from the present where and when—only to deposit you in the hold of a seagoing vessel some decades prior? How many provide more than a mere taste of what a given author or artist is capable of? The answer, surely, is none of these: until now.
